Janet Fletcher
Janet Fletcher is the author of Cheese & Wine: A Guide to Selecting, Pairing, and Enjoying and The Cheese Course (both from Chronicle Books). She contributes a weekly cheese column and frequent food and wine features to the San Francisco Chronicle; her work for the Chronicle has won three James Beard Awards and the IACP Bert Greene Award. Janet also writes the “Cheese Focus” column for Specialty Food, a trade publication. Her writing on wine and food has appeared in numerous national magazines, including Metropolitan Home, Bon Appétit, Fine Cooking, Saveur and Food & Wine. Janet trained at the Culinary Institute of America and at Berkeley's celebrated Chez Panisse restaurant.
